Returns, Exchanges and Complaints

At Le Szapo, we are committed to the highest quality of our exclusive headwear and to your complete satisfaction with every purchase. We understand that sometimes a style or size may not meet your expectations. Below you will find simple guidelines to help you smoothly complete the return, exchange, or complaint process.


1. Returns (Withdrawal from the Contract)

You have the right to withdraw from the contract and return the purchased goods within 14 days from the date of receiving the shipment, without providing any reason.

Full Set Return Policy (Important!)

As part of Le Szapo’s standard offer, you may receive complimentary additional products with your hat, forming an integral part of the premium package: a Le Szapo box (retail value PLN 49) and size-reducing cork inserts/strips (retail value PLN 26).

In the event of a hat return, the contract is considered void in its entirety. This means that you are required to return the complete set received, including the hat, the undamaged box, and the cork inserts.

Protect the Le Szapo box: The box is part of the product and is not intended to serve as shipping packaging. Please place the returned items inside an outer cardboard shipping box. Never attach adhesive tape or courier labels directly to the Le Szapo branded box.

If you return the hat without the accessories, or if the box is returned damaged to the extent that it can no longer be sold, the refund amount will be reduced by the regular retail price of these products (PLN 49 for the box / PLN 26 for the cork inserts).


Procedure and Product Inspection

1. Safely pack and return the complete set to our boutique address.

IMPORTANT: We do not accept cash-on-delivery shipments.

2. Upon receipt, our team conducts a thorough inspection of the returned goods. We verify that the product shows no signs of use (odors, makeup marks, deformation) and has not been damaged.

3. Only after successful verification of the product’s condition will we issue a refund to the bank account provided by you. Refunds are processed within up to 14 days from the date we receive the returned shipment.


2. Product Exchange

Would you like to exchange your hat for a different size, color, or an entirely different model? We will be happy to help you choose the perfect product and avoid further unsuitable purchases.

Please contact us before sending your package back (by phone or email).

Our team will advise you on the appropriate size, check the availability of the desired model in our Kraków boutique, and reserve it for you during the exchange process.


3. Complaints

All our products are crafted with the highest level of artisanal care. However, if your item has a manufacturing defect or has been damaged through no fault of your own, you have the right to submit a complaint.

Inspection Procedure

As with returns, every complained-about item is subject to a detailed technical inspection upon arrival at our boutique, during which we assess the nature of the defect.

Complaint Resolution

If the complaint is accepted, we will first attempt a professional repair of the product. If repair proves impossible or excessively costly, we will replace the product with a new one or provide a full refund to your bank account.

To submit a complaint, please follow the steps below:

1. Return/Complaint Form

Complete the return/complaint form and include it in your shipment. The document should contain the following information:

  • Full name
  • E-mail address or correspondence address
  • Telephone number
  • Product number
  • Description of the complaint and reason
  • Date of purchase
  • Date when the defect occurred

2. Return the Product

When submitting a complaint, please return the product together with all accessories and a copy of the purchase invoice.

Product Return

In accordance with applicable law, you have 14 days to return the goods. To withdraw from the contract and return a product purchased from us, complete the declaration below and send it to our address together with the returned product(s) and proof of purchase (receipt).
